The American Fantasy Football League is pleased to announce that we will have a $1,000,000 bonus prize for the 2009 season.
Any player that can win the Championship Playoff in any three of the five main pay levels of the AFFL Main Contest, (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper), will win the $1,000,000 bonus prize, in addition the stated level Grand Prizes. Therefore, the minimum required entry fee to be eligible for the $1,000,000 bonus prize is only $350! That would be one entry each in the Copper, Bronze, and Silver levels. You could increase your chances to win by signing up for additional levels and/or signing up for more teams.
In order to win the $1,000,000 bonus prize, a player, prior to the start of the season, MUST be registered as the PRINCIPAL PARTICIPANT of the winning teams. A player who is registered as a co-manager of a winning team would not be eligible to win the prize. An example of this is as follows. Owner 1 is the principal participant of team A which wins the Gold Championship. Owner 1 is also the principal participant of Team B which wins the Platinum Championship. Owner 2 is the principal participant of Team C which wins the Silver Championship, but has Owner 1 listed as a Co-Manager. Owner 1 is not eligible for the bonus prize. However, if Owner 1 was also the principal participant of Team D which wins the Bronze Championship then Owner 1 would win the bonus prize. The three levels that Owner 1 wins are Platinum, Gold, and Bronze. He does not get credit for the bonus prize for the Silver Championship because he is only the Co-Manager.
The $1,000,000 bonus prize is an insured prize and will be paid out at $25,000 per year as a 40 year annuity by HCC Underwriters.
