We are excited to announce the launch of our Women’s Division this Summer! Eight (8) of the best teams around the world will compete for money, fight for pride, and make history as they participate in the biggest event yet. Does your team have what it takes?
Summer 2021
6 teams, 1 Champion
The Women’s AFFL tournament is scheduled for August 27-28.
Tournament Structure: Single Elimination
- Friday 3 team Showdown: Winning team will be awarded $2,500
- Semi-Finals: Winning Teams are awarded an additional $2,500.
- Finals: The last 2 teams fight for the grand prize of $200,000 and to be crowned the AFFL Women’s Champion.
The payout is as follows:
- Winners of Friday Showdown : $2,500
- Winners of Semifinals: $2,500
- Champion of Finals: $200,000
Roster Size: Maximum of 20 players per roster; 15 active players per gam

AFFL Sanctioned Satellite Event
What is an AFFL Sanctioned Satellite Event?
An AFFL Sanctioned Satellite Event is a Regional Tournament where your team can win a FREE bid into the AFFL 2021 Women’s Division.
Past Qualifier:
Event: New York AFFL Sanctioned Satellite Event
Date: Saturday, May 29 to Sunday, May 30
Location: Hofstra University, New York
Maximum number of teams: Between 8-12
Cost: $1,000/team
Players per roster: Maximum of 20 players per roster; 15 active players per game

Event: Lynn Lewis Foundation 13th Annual Invitational
Date: Friday, April 30 to Sunday, May 2
Location: Palm Coast, Florida
Bid Winners: The Academy & She-Blitz
New York AFFL Sanctioned Satellite Event
Registration protocol:
- Register through the New York Registration page (Link below)
- Cost: $1,000/team
Competition rules:
- AFFL rules and regulations will apply
- Teams will start off playing in pool play. Top 2 teams from each pool advance.
- The number of Bids will be determined by the final team count.
Division prizes:
- Free bid(s) to the AFFL tournament scheduled for August 21-22 in Texas. Teams not awarded a free bid will be scouted by the AFFL for possible invitation based on team play.
Lynn Lewis Foundation 13th Annual Invitational
Registration protocol:
- Register through the Lynn Lewis Foundation Registration page (Link below)
- Upon registration, individual players will submit requested AFFL jersey size/number and pay the following fees (to LLFI):
- Early bird registration (Feb. 24 – Mar. 1) = $45
- Regular registration (Mar. 2 – Apr. 9) = $55
- Late registration (Apr. 10 – Apr. 16) = $70
Competition rules:
- AFFL rules and regulations will apply
- Teams will start off playing in pool play to determine seeding, then single elimination.
- Games will consist of two halves. Each half will last 20-30 minutes based on final team count and field flexibility
Division prizes:
- The first and second place teams will receive free bids to the AFFL tournament scheduled for August 21-22 in Texas. Teams placing third and below will be scouted by the AFFL for possible invitation based on team play.
